Your "home page," is the page that appears when you start up your web browser. Often it is set to Google or your browser’s homepage. It is easy to change on your own computer. Here are the instructions for the type of browser that you may use.
Internet Explorer for Windows
Firefox
Safari for MacOS X
Opera
Centricity Physician Office EMR version 5.6
Internet Explorer for Windows
1. Enter http://examroomfavorites.com/ in the URL address window.
2. Click on the "Tools" menu of Internet Explorer.
3. Choose "Internet Options."
4. See the "General" tab appear.
5. At the top notice the "Home page" box.
6. Select the "Use Current" button.
7. Click "OK."
8. Now close Internet Explorer and then reopen it. Exam Room Favorites should come up and will now be your new home page.

Firefox
1. Enter http://examroomfavorites.com/ in the URL address window.
2. Click on the "Tools" menu of Firefox.
3. Choose "Options."
4. Select the "General" tab.
5. You'll see the "Home Page" box at the top.
6. Click the "Use Current Page" button in that box.
7. Click "OK."
8. Now close Firefox and then reopen it. Exam Room Favorites should come up and will now be your new home page.

Safari for MacOS X
1. Enter http://examroomfavorites.com/ in the URL address window.
2. Pull down the "Safari" menu.
3. Choose "Preferences."
4. Select the "General" tab.
5. Notice the "Home page:" and the "Set to Current Page" option beneath it.
6. Select the "Set to Current Page" button.
7. Look up to the upper left corner in preferences and choose the red "close" button.
8. Now close Safari and then reopen it. Exam Room Favorites should come up and will now be your new home page.

Opera
1. Enter http://examroomfavorites.com/ in the URL address window.
2. Click on the "Tools" menu of Opera.
3. Choose "Preferences..."
4. After the "Preferences" dialog box appears, select the "General" tab.
5. Notice the "Home page:" and the "Set to Current Page" option to the right.
6. Select "Use Current."
7. Click "OK."
8. In Opera the last page you browsed to before you shut off your computer last loads as your home page. It will not load you Exam Room Favorites as your home page when you restart it unless you change this behavior in the "Startup" menu at the top of the "General" tab to "Start with home page." You may need to copy and paste the http://examroomfavorites.com/ URL from the URL address bar at the top of your browser window into a "home page" field in your browser's choices.

Centricity Physician Office EMR version 5.6
1. To use examroomfavorites.com in Centricity Physician Office EMR version 5.6
2. Navigate to Go/Setup/Settings/Web Services/Internet sites
3. Select “New”
4. On the Drop Down list Use this site for: select “Problem Lookup in Chart”
5. Under description type “Exam Room Favorites”
6. Under URL copy and paste: http://www.examroomfavorites.com/
7. Navigate to Go/Setup/Preferences/Web Services/ Internet sites and be sure the selection for Lookup Problems Using: shows Exam Room Favorites. If it does not then select Exam Room Favorites from the drop down list.
8. Then when in Centricity EMR from a patients chart, select the problems view and select web lookup. This should bring you to the Exam Room Favorites website.
